The XXI. century has been a real breakthrough in medical and health sciences as well as in computer science and engineering. Our company believes that the combination of these fields gives many benefits for patients and the professionals who provide and organize healthcare whether it is organized patient trips, or modern and visual health education, or simpler and more interactive doctor-patient communication, or even more effective diagnostics and care. CoreTechs Solutions Kft. was founded in 2020 as a spin-off company of the University of Pécs. It aims to effectively support medical education and healthcare by providing innovative technological solutions. Whether it is individual practices, medical centres, clinics, or companies operating in the sector, we offer an individual solution for the entire digital transformation with the help of our colleagues and our extensive network of experts!
Our company has been commissioned to develop the new website of the Faculty of General Medicine of the University of Pécs. Our task was to develop the frontend in close collaboration with the University’s own backend development team. Our goal was to create a modern, user-friendly website that meets all the needs and fully meets the expectations of the target audience. Thanks to the productive and successful cooperation, additional sub-pages are under development, and we have also been commissioned to develop the website of the Faculty of Pharmacy of the University of Pécs. Our employees have been involved in the development of several augmented and virtual reality-based solutions. Interactive, 3-dimensional showrooms, virtual replicas of operating room and emergency care units have been created in close collaboration with our network of experts, providing an opportunity to display innovative and immersive educational and clinical content. Behind each virtual showroom is our self-developed content management CMS system, which provides flexible and fast editing. These virtual showrooms can also accommodate interactive models, and even “mini-games”
Our experts participated in the complete design, equipment acquisition and IT development of the Simulation Education Center of the Faculty of General Medicine of the University of Pécs, thus supporting the practical education and research activities of the University in the field of medicine and health sciences. During the project, we provided assistance in the preparation of technical documentation, in the selection of technologies suitable for the professional program, and in the planning of IT-related acquisition of the investment.
During the COVID-19 pandemic, it became essential to provide resident physicians with an easy-to-use, fast, and efficient working time records. The PATENT application developed by our team, which we prepared for the PTE ÁOK Szak- és Továbbképző Központ based on the given technical requirements, helped to overcome this challenge. The system was used by more than 400 resident physicians, with the number of reports reaching 96,000. We are currently cooperating with the Center in planning the further development of the system.
The framework based on revolutionary technologies, which supports interactive, modular as well as quality assurance for higher education in medicine and health, takes what we have known so far about digital education to a whole new level. Real and virtual 3D visualization, live annotation options and complete curriculum editing - all within a product family. An intellectual property owned by the University of Pécs, licensed by the spin-off company for the purpose of carrying out and utilizing additional KFI activities.
